Yesterday, I stopped by a new (to me) restaurant for a cozy lunch with my boyfriend. I was immediately drawn to the piles of kilim pillows layered across the room. A unique cushion adorned each and every bench, armchair, and banquet seat. I'm a huge fan of vintage items as customization elements in a room - but I've never used a kilim detail in a space before. The flat tapestry-woven carpets are so colorful, textural, and unique.
