Happy Friday, friends! So today's design dilemma on the docket is WALLPAPER. I'm a very firm believer in the power of a great wallpaper, but the commitment makes choosing a pattern/style quite difficult. Wallpaper is way harder to install than paint, and it's also a lot harder to remove. This should never prevent you from using a wallpaper (lots of my clients are scared of this stuff), but you definitely want to make sure that you get the decision right. The perfect style will completely transform a space by creating interest and serving as architectural ART that is little plastered onto your wall.
We've decided to make a statement with the small powder bath on the lower level of our Bungalow, and I'm partnering with Makelike to use one of their amazing wallcoverings. I've worked with this incredible Portland-based company on a couple of my Commercial Interiors projects, and I have never been disappointed by the results. Their designs are so complex and unique! Each paper features multi-layer designs that steal the show in any space!
The best way to select the right wallcovering – and know that you will be 100% happy with your choice – is to tape the large-scale samples right on the wall! I narrowed my choices down to 3 styles that look great with the elements we've already installed in the room. I am having such a hard time making a final decision, so I'd love to enlist some help! Vote below, please and THANK YOU!
